With over 50 years of experience formerly as a National Hunt Jockey and now as a Champion Trainer (all-weather 24/25), Tony Carroll has established himself as one of the most respected and versatile racehorse trainers in the industry.

Tony has been crowned Champion Trainer for the 2024/25 all-weather campaign with a record breaking 57 winners which is testament to the incredibly successful operation he runs at his picturesque Cropthorne Stud located in the county of Worcestershire.

In 2024, Tony also achieved the remarkable milestone of training 100 winners in a single calendar year, a testament to his dedication, skill, and consistency.

From Dundalk to the glittering races of Dubai—and countless courses in between—Tony has consistently delivered winners, earning the trust of owners and the admiration of racing enthusiasts.

The stories behind the success

On 18th of April 2025 Tony Carroll was crowned Champion Trainer for the 24/25 all-weather season with record breaking 57 winners.

The Craftymaster racing career was reignited from being a riding horse back into training, going onto win 7 races in the 23/24 all-weather season and being crowned champion all-weather horse later that year.

Tony's association with Brighton racecourse has become legendary and no horse epitomises his achievements on the South Coast track more so than Pour La Victoire who won 11 races in doing so became the winning most horse in Brighton's history.

On 16th of December 2024 Tony achieved a lifetime ambition of training 100 winners in a calendar year, an accolade very few trainers ever achieve (pictured.)
